I want to copy the value of the sprint field from one issue to another (as a text). The problem is, the {{issue.sprint}} doesn't seem to be accessible. In the screenshot below I'm trying to print out values of variables. {{issue.key}} works, everything else is blank.
Please help.
You have to use {{sprint.xxx}}, the sprint is not tied to the issue itself, the issue only holds a reference to it. You can see the different options for the Sprint smart value here.
Yes, and...to Mikael's answer:
You do not show your entire rule for context, and so the {{sprint}} smart value is only available stand-alone if the trigger was one of the sprint-related ones: sprint created, started, completed.
Within an issue, the sprint field is a list, and so if your issues have been in multiple sprints please review the list smart values to include all values.
