Jira and Confluence behind NGINX reverse proxy

Stephen Baydush October 17, 2017

Hi,

I have Jira and Confluence behind a reverse proxy with SSL enabled on the reverse proxy. Everything seems to work fine except for the ability to link Confluence and Jira together.

When I enable Integration, it provides the following error:

"The remote certificate can't be trusted.

Confluence may be using a self signed SSL certificate or a certificate that was issued by a certificate authority that isn't known locally."

The certificates are signed by an authorized CA and chrome shows the certs for both sites as valid.

Any Suggestions?

Thanks,

Stephen

What you see in the logs ?

I suspect this is because of SSL handshake failed, however, we should first check the tomcat logs and application logs.
