Running Jira on a single instance running Amazon Linux AMI release 2018.03 with a MySQL RDS engine version 5.6.40.
Would rather do one upgrade 7.3.6 --> 7.13.2 versus 7.3.6 --> 7.6.4 (run for a week) --> (then jump to) 7.13.2
I don't see blockers in the release notes which refers to the upgrade matrix which does not reveal any stoppers.
Thanks in advance.
Hi Bob, to go from 7.3, you can go straight to 7.13 -> Can't currently find the page, but all 7 to 7 upgrades are compatible without steps.
You might also want to check out the following pages:
https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver/upgrade-matrix-966063322.html
which talks about changes in supported platforms.
https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver/upgrade-checklist-966063320.html is also helpful for all upgrades :)
All the best
Somehow I missed this on my search last week....

Does mention stop gap of 7.5 between 7.0.X and 7.13. I might just upgrade, restart, check things out real quick, then upgrade again since it is off hours.
