Hi Team,
We have installed Jira Software Ver 7.10.1 on Redhat Linux OS, configured SMTP
mail server to send notifications. We are able to send the test mail too.
When we create any users, issues respective users are not getting the mails.
Any help on this issue.
Thanks
Sanjeev Kumar N
Thomas,
We have admin privilege (attached the screen shot), normally when we create any issues, jira should send mail to user who created it.
@LokanaSMSo please add user to project which you are creating issues in
make sure user has (assignable user / browse project permission) in the permission scheme, the go to notification scheme of the project and verify that current assignee is the under notifications for the issue created event
Set user to be default assignee in project setting/ or add a post function to assign ticket to this user.
Try to create ticket and verify user mail whether or not user receives email.
