Is there any prorating of users in Jira Software Cloud's monthly plan? Let's say a user works in Jira for a day of the month and then no more. We deactivate his/her account after a day.
Then, after that, some other user account is active in Jira for a week and then we deactivate his/her account right away.
Was that two monthly users or one?
Can we please have a detailed description of this from Atlassian?
Hi @eirens ,
Generally Atlassian bills you for Cloud usage based on the number of users towards the end of a billing cycle.
If you deactivate a user before the bill is created, the user is not counted. But it is cumbersome for the billing contact to track such changes. So, it is safe to assume that all distinct users are counted towards billing for that billing cycle.
For more clarification, please contact Atlassian directly at https://www.atlassian.com/company/contact. I hope that helps.
best,
Kris
