Jira Slack intgration: JQL filter not triggering notification

I'm trying to send notifications to a specific Slack channel when Issues are created in a specific epic.

 

Here are the Filter and triggers:

I did receive a notification in the appropriate channel when I established the connection, but no notifications are being sent when I create / update issues in the Epic.

 

Any ideas?

Hi @Chris B 

Welcome to the community!

Could you try parent = PROD-2673 instead? Jira is deprecating the Epic Link field in favor of Parent, which is probably why it doesn't work. To verify it, you can click Filter at the top navigation and select Advanced issue search. There switch to JQL and try both queries. The one which will show you issues is the correct one that you can use as a filter for Slack notifications.
