Jira Slack App Clears Description on Issue Create

For the Jira Slack App, when you are creating a new issue and type in the description and then change the issue type, it clears out everything in the description and summary fields. This is extremely frustrating, because I lost everything I typed out and IMO should not work that way.

Hello, Good day. I am unable to reproduce this issue on my instance. My best guess it could be one of the following reasons.


1. You have two different Description fields created. One field is used on slack form and the second one is used on the issue view, so detailed entered on slack are not shown on the issue view. Check for the number of description fields.

2. There are chances that there is an automation rule configured to clear the specific field. This can be identified from the "Issue history" on newly created issue from slack.
