I see there already are JIRA Cloud performance issues, and most of them are closed or no update in long time.
Is Atlassian taking some action to fix performance issues?
I haven't mentioned any use case where performance in JIRA is also intentionally, as my issue is generic rather than specific.
Hi ambujp,
this is truly a wide range and a broad topic to discuss.
As you said you are after some general information I'd like to link the open issue that is still in progress:
https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-73176
After all, so many factors like connection speed, the browser etc. come into play.
There IS documentation which you could check also:
https://confluence.atlassian.com/cloudkb/jira-or-confluence-cloud-instance-is-running-slowly-691011837.html
... and generally there has been work (and still is!) towards a better performance and user experience:
https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-articles/6-ways-we-ve-improved-performance-in-Jira-Cloud/ba-p/1118182
Also Community threads dicuss this topic every now and then. I found the feedback from Atlassian Team (the second post, updated Nov 09, 2020) helpful - in case you want to review:
https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Confluence-questions/Jira-and-Confluence-Cloud-is-toooooo-slow/qaq-p/744373
I know, page speed can never be fast enough.
Cheers,
Daniel
