JQL is not working for some records.

Hi,

I ran the following Jql query:-

project = STK and issuetype="Internal Stakeholder" And "First Name"~"Atul" AND "Last Name"~"A"

I am not getting records which are starting from 'A', but the same query with different firstName and lastName, I m getting records.

I think there is bug in JIRA JQL for the records which starts from the "A".

Can anyone quickly help me to sort out this issue?

Thanks for information :)

have you tried to use a wildcard?

"Last Name" ~"A*"

Yes I tired, not working.

Last name was only "A", I changed the lastname with "B" and I m getting records.

There is some problem with character "A" only.

hmm , "A" is not a reserved word. Can you try to use

"Last Name" ~"\"A\""

I tried with both.

"Last Name" ~"A*"

"Last Name" ~"\"A\""

Unfortunately, Not working.

According to Atlassian this is a wanted feature.
