JQL Query for Total Original Estimate not equal to Impact Assessment Estimate

Madison Johnson June 16, 2021

I am struggling to create a JQL query to search for issues where the Total Original Estimate does not equal to Impact Assessment Estimate. As you can see by my picture there are at least two examples in my large database. Screenshot 2021-06-16 155742.png

Hello @Madison Johnson

Welcome to the community.

Jira does not natively provide a method for you the filter issues using comparisons between values of fields. You can only filter using comparison of field values to actual values.

There are third party applications available in the Marketplace that extend the jql functionality, and one of those might help you.

Alternately you might create a custom field to note (true or false, yes or no, less or more) when these two fields are not equal and use the Automation feature to make the evaluation and then set the field. Then you could filter based on that custom field.
