JIRA due date field and Agile sprint start date and end date

For example, I have an issue A which has a due date on 6-June-2014.

Then, I put that issue into a sprint which has a start date 8-June-2014.

In the case above, what the user is doing is not making sense as the issue is expected to be completed on 6-June-2014, but sprint (work) only start on 8-June-2014.

Are there any ways that JIRA Agile can:

1. Block the user from adding issue A to the sprint

2. Lets the users know about this conflict between the fix by date and the sprint start date

Thank you!

You cannot do it without doing some customizations. The easy thing to do will be do add a warning message on the "View Issue Screen", using a view only custom field, when the dates are conflicted. You will have to create a calculated custom field for that.
