We will use JIRA SM and JIRA Software on the same cloud.
JIRA SM users receive notifications and can reply by email.
JIRA Software users receive notifications by email, but when they try to reply, by email, their reply is not added in the comments.
Is this normal?

The first link you gave me corresponds to a server configuration (I'm in the cloud) and I don't see why I should add a mail server setting when the exchanges (receiving a notification and answering by mail from the client) already work for the Jira Service Management part.
It is only on Jira Software that I have a problem. I receive the notifications by mail, but I get an error message (sent by the Atlassian mail server) if I try to answer by mail:
