I created a roadmap for my project, and my project already has some stories assigned to sprints. Why don't the stories show up in the roadmap timeline section for the period of the sprint?

Check if you have any filters that are not displaying the stories. Also look into the issues source and exclusion rules.

There are no filters that I'm aware of. The stories display when I expand the epic as you can see from the screenshot. I had to manually enter the Target Start and Target End Dates for the user stories. I figured if they were already assigned to a sprint that they would show up on the timeline, but apparently not.
