JIRA Agile Default Sprint Names

Stefan Niedermann October 6, 2013

Hi,

what does the number after the braces on the end of default sprint names means?

for example: I create a new sprint. JIRA Agile sets its name to "Sprint 23 (10.12 - 23.12) 41,8"

What does the 41,8 mean?

There aren't any issues in this sprint yet.

Lucky guess : that number is the sprint id.

To check that, open an issue with a sprint and if the sprints are visible(available in the issue screen), put your mouse over a sprint(do not click it!). You should see the URL in your browser status bar. If you can't see or find the status bar, right click on the Sprint link in the issue screen, copy link location and paste it somewhere(address bar, an editor ...).
The Sprint URL is something like YOUR_JIRA_HOST/secure/GHGoToBoard.jspa?sprintId=4.

Nope, sorry. Sometimes the numbers have a ","-char... eg "37,4"
