Is it possible for our team to edit info only via columns/transitions?

Hi,

I have set up several columns, and I would like our team to follow the workflow. However, I see from the 3-button icon at the side view, that they can also assign people, edit, log work from there. Can I disable this button?

If not, how can I make them work just by following the workflow?

Any tips will be very much appreciated.

The permissions to do things other than the workflow are controlled by the project's permission scheme.  If you want to stop them editing, assigning, logging work etc, then change the permissions for the project. 

The minimum you'll want them to have is "browse" (to see the issues at all) and "transition issue" (so they can move things across columns).  But I suspect you'll find that they do genuinely need other things such as "comment" as well, so think carefully about each permission.
