Is it neccessary to make full backup?

Hi, community!

I have a question, is it neccessary to make and store full backup for Jira and Confluence Data Center? There are a lot of temporary data and caches (like Jira home temp), are they important? Which folders are not required for further restoring and can be excluded from backups?

Welcome to the community 

It is very important to take a Database backup and data folder backup from home directory for both the instances
