Is JIRA Agile officially incompatible with Safari?

Nik Blanchet May 7, 2015

Whenever I open JIRA Agile in Safari, I get the following error.

Exception: QuotaExceededError: DOM Exception 22: An attempt was made to add something to storage that exceeded the quota.

Resource: https://#.#.#/jira/s/81555aca2a85637904fa5fe1ff4f9989-T/en_US2g9fhg/6346/90/97bbb98170be52ed5e6c02567b846379/_/download/contextbatch/js/greenhopper-rapid-non-gadget,atl.general,gh-rapid,jira.project.sidebar,jira.global/batch.js?locale=en-US&isAdmin=true

Line: 1570

Column: 667

Researching, I found https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRA-31907, which is over 2 years old.

So… is Atlassian officially not supporting JIRA Agile in Safari then, or did I miss a fix along the way?

No, it's officially compatible - see https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/AGILE/Supported+Platforms

You'll need to check the versions of Safari, JIRA and Agile you are on to confirm that it is supported, and if you are on a supported version, I'd raise it as a new bug on that JIRA
