Internal Directory is not getting searched?

I am a fairly new user to JIRA/Greenhopper and am having issues in the 'Planning Board-Task List' of Greenhopper. I am trying to Assign tasks to a user, but when I click to enter a name, none of the names are ever found??? Is there a configuration of the lookup for Greenhopper where I can tell it to look at the Internal Directory? In Jira/edit mode I get a dropdown listing all the users correctly.

I am on version Greenhopper 5.7.4 and JIRA 4.4.1

Hopefully you got past this issue, the problem here was that none of the users were assigned the correct group permissions for your project.
