Integrity Checker - Duplicate Permissions? what is this ? any help appreciated

hi all,

Our system admin received the below error. can someone please explain what this is saying and how can this be resolved. we upgraded from 6.4+agile to JIRA software 7.3.

Check for Duplicate Permissions
Check the permissions are not duplicated
ERROR: Duplicate Permission: SchemePermissions (ID:10704)
ERROR: Duplicate Permission: SchemePermissions (ID:10705)
ERROR: Duplicate Permission: SchemePermissions (ID:10906)
ERROR: Duplicate Permission: SchemePermissions (ID:10907)
ERROR: Duplicate Permission: SchemePermissions (ID:10908)
ERROR: Duplicate Permission: SchemePermissions (ID:10909)
ERROR: Duplicate Permission: SchemePermissions (ID:10032)
ERROR: Duplicate Permission: SchemePermissions (ID:10100)
ERROR: Duplicate Permission: SchemePermissions (ID:10910)

Hi Shilpini,

There seems to be a bug related to the Duplicate Permissions check: JRASERVER-41886. According to the comments you can simply click the "Fix" button to resolve the fake duplicate entries.

If you're really unsure, I would contact Atlassian Support.

Yes, it seems to be a false positive.

thanks for the replies. where can i get more information on this. i want to know what it means and what is the error saying and what scenario should throw this error( true error not a bug)
