we want to integrate our Git-hub with our Jira Project to get isssues reflected in the project and to have a history of development to tickets in Jira. Can we do that directly or is there anything else like Crucible or Bitbucket needed?
What is the experiance here?

This is Majid @ Exalate.
It is certainly possible to synchronize your GitHub issues fully with Jira. If you are open to using a third party app in order to achieve this bidirectional synchronization, you can utilize an an integration app such as Exalate. The app provides you fully customizable synchronization between GH and Jira issues, providing you with very granular control over it.
Please feel free to book a customized demo if you would like to see the product in action.
Thanks
Majid

@Ursula Reinhardt hi there! Hope Ursula's answer helped you with your use case. If you're open to exploring alternative ways (3rd party help) for connecting the two systems, you can check out the marketplace for options. Such one is ZigiOps. It's a no-code integration tool that can help you connect bitbucket and jira, transfer data, and sync them. Feel free to look at it and if you think it would be useful for future projects, book a demo to see how it works.
Regards, Diana (ZigiWave team)
