Images in the text of a mail, prevent attachments from being saved in the ticket

When I send a mail to Jira and an automatic ticket is to be created there, the images in the attachment are not saved as well if an image is embedded in the mail.
For example in a signature.
If I remove the images from the signature, all attachments are also displayed in the ticket.

I have tried the following mail attachment combinations:
1. attachment yes, signature with image = only the image from the signature is displayed in the ticket.
2. attachment yes, no signature = attachments are displayed in the ticket
3. attachment yes, signature without image = attachments are displayed in the ticket
4. multiple attachments, signature without image = attachments will be displayed in the ticket
