I have a product roadmap in Microsoft Excel and now I am setting up a Roadmap in Jira for same Product but there is an issue of dates, As new roadmap is starting from present date but I want those dates which I have previously in Excel.
And Secondly I am using Roadmap BETA version, So is it reliable enough to carry flow?
Hello @Ghalib Raza ,
Currently, when using the Roadmap feature in Next-Gen projects or the Classic Project beta, only the Epics will show the date range, the child issues don't show this information on the roadmap when we expand the Epics.
Also, the Epic won't adjust automatically if a child issue has an end date after the Epic's end date.
The following feature requests are in place to track interest in these improvements for the Roadmaps feature:
Please, make sure to add your vote to the requests to show your interest as covered in the Implementation of New Features Policy
Regards,
Earl
Hey @Earl McCutcheon when we updated the start date and due date field for the epic it's not reflected in roadmap view.
Roadmap is still showing the old start date and due date for that epic. We're on classic jira project.
Can you please let us know if you've an idea? Thank you in advance.
Regards,
Narendra
