I am not able to see the sidebar in JIRA

We were previously using Atlassian Confluence and we recently started with JIRA. All my other users are able to see the side panel whereas I am unable to see the side panel in JIRA. However, this issue is not present in Confluence.

That is odd for sure. Can you try another browser and or clear cache in the current one?
