I am having issues in Description area - hier­ar­chi­cal head­ings are not working

For example - we are trying to do the following but it is not working when copying information from outlook into Jira Description area:

1. Public > Card Landing Page
   1. Title: Builder Profile 10
   2. Content Tab: (p) placeholder text (two buttons matching the style of the two buttons on the top card for the BP10 homepage
2. Support > Card
   1. Title: internal only – uncheck box

Hi Elaine,

Is this what you would like the formatting to look once it's in JIRA?  Please explain more about what you're seeing when you copy and paste and if you can attach a screenshot that would be awesome and we'll go from there.
