How to stop the auto changing status of the Jira service desk when comment on the ticket?

Whenever we make the comment on the ticket, the status will transit to the new status based on the jira workflow and we want to stop that. I already added the Post function to transit the status back to current status but it still does not work. Any suggestion anyone? Thanks

Check your automation rules in the jira project. Most likely there is a rule that triggers status changes when comments are entered.
