How to stop incremetation of global rank field for a particular project?

Hi Nic,

We have a external project in our jira, it should not effect other projects in our jira. So those external users mentioned like if they create issue global rank is changing.

So please help for this.

There's no reason for trying to get rid of ranking in that project there. Just ignore it.

The only way to "stop it incrementing" is to remove it completely. The field HAS to do behave the way it does, for all issues, or it's useless. So you can't turn it off.

Could you explain why you want to do this? It might help us come up with a way to improve what you're seeing.
