I would like to find out how to include the details in the Action Details from the audit log when an automation fails and see that detail shared in the email sent to rule owner. Can this be done?
Currently, the auto email sent to rule owner shares no context as to why the rule failed on that occasion.
Thanks!
Hi Paul,
I am not aware of anyway to make that happen.
But there will be a link in the email to go to the appropriate rule. Then just search the Audit Log for the rule to see the entries with Error listed.
If you would like for Atlassian to make a change, you will need to contact Atlassian Support with the feature request.
Hi @Paul Loveday to my knowledge, this mail notification cannot be customised.
You need to go to the admin section anyway to correct the rule if there are errors.

Thanks @Dave Mathijs - therein lies the issue for me. The lack of customisation is a very limiting factor as it requires click and search through the audit log. Such a shame that the email cant include the reason for the failure.
