How to integrate a Burndown Chart into a Confluence page (Greenhopper 6.x)

Is there a way to display the burndown chart of a (scrum) board (GH 6.2) within a confluence page?

Hi Hüseyin,

You can follow the instructions in this manual to add all the gadgets that you have in Jira to your Confluence pages.

Best regards,

Greetings Huseyin,

If you follow these steps:

  1. Go to your JIRA dashboard.
  2. ClickAdd Gadget.
  3. The 'Gadget Directory' popup window will appear. ClickGadget Subscriptions.
  4. The 'Gadget Subscriptions' popup window will appear. ClickAdd Subscription.
  5. The 'Add Subscriptions' popup window will appear. Copy the base URL for your Confluence site (e.g.http://coopers:8090/confluenceor and paste it into the text box on the screen.
  6. ClickAdd Subscription.
  7. ClickFinished.

This will allow all of the JIRA gadgets (including burndown charts) to be referenced in Confluence.

I hope this helps!

Hey Matt,

thanks a lot for your reply.

Unfortunately I can't see a button "Gadget Subscriptions".

It is probably an issue of permissions that I need to clarify with IT department.

Or could it be a difference in the jira/greenhopper version?

Cheers hüseyin

What you say works ... only if you are not using the Cloud version of Confluence/JIRA in which case adding gadgets is not available.

I am looking for how to add a burndown chart otherwise.

So it is impossible to add a burndown chart to confluence if you are NOT using the cloud version of JIRA?
