How to get greenhopper version report as a gadget and getting it more accurate with scope change trend?

Stephane Renou April 9, 2013

I would like to use that report in a dashboard, so it would be helpfull, anyone would know how to do that?

Also it appears that currently the report is considering the scope as stable when trying to identify an end date, could it also draw a scope trend line that should meet the completed line to indicate a realistic target date?

Hey there, Stephane.

For now, there are only a couple of GreenHopper related gadgets to the dashboard. (https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/GH/Using+the+GreenHopper+Gadgets). The Version Report gadget however is not included yet.

As for the scope line, you might need to customize your GreenHopper chart. Maybe you can check on the Atlassian Marketplace (https://marketplace.atlassian.com/) for any plugins that can cater for this, seek help from Atlassian Experts (http://www.atlassian.com/resources/experts/?tab=find-an-expert), maybe even consider developing a plugin for this requirement. Hope this helps!

Thanks for the answer. Is there a Jira issue to track the need for those gadget that I could vote for as I could not find one so far?

Concerning the scope line, so far I was not able to find anything on the market place, but I would keep an eye on it, or would it be of any value to also create a Jira request for enhancement?

Hey there, Stephane.

You are welcome. In rgeards to you question, yes. There is https://jira.atlassian.com/ where you can raise bugs / improvements for JIRA or GreenHopper. If you want, I can also create one for you so that the developers can perhaps look into this and consider if it can be implemented in the future release of JIRA / GreenHopper.

Warm regards,

Danial
