How to customize Kanban cards in Greenhopper

Dinyar Dastoor September 29, 2012

Because Kanban is all about visual presentation to make intelligent decisions, we want to customize it when displaying it on the Agile board.

1. It does not show labels which is key to classification of cards. How do we display it.

2. It creates its own unique link name based on project. We would like to customize it.

3. We need to show short description of the issue.

Hello,

One approach you can use is to colour the cards. This approach is detailed in this blog post and also this knowledge base article.

Thanks,

Thanks. How can we show additional information on the card ? Like what is mentioned in #1 ~#3 in question.

The short description is the Summary field. The Issue Detail View has space for the full Description field, or you can add your own fields to the Issue Detail View:

As for the unique link name based on the project, this is the issue key which incorporates the project key (e.g. GHS, ABD, etc) and the issue number. Why would you want to change this? What would you like to change it to?
