How to close a sprint ?

johann bich September 17, 2015

Hello,

Here are the background information:

  • Created a project in KANBAN mode
  • Created many task / stories in it
  • Bulk change to switch to a SCRUM project
  • removed the KANBAN project

Now the issue:

  • when user that are administrator of the SCRUM project try to end a sprint, they have an error message:
    • To update this sprint you must have Project Administrator permissions for all of the following projects: 12800, Scrum Project
  • They are administrator of the "Scrum Project", but i think that the "12800" is the ID of the old KANBAN project.
  • As this KANBAN project has been removed, i cannot add them as administrator of this project

Result:

  • They can't close the sprint, and it's not good

Does anyone know about this issue ? how can i handle it ? how can I remove this error message and let the administrators of the project end their sprint without me ?

Thanks

Hi Johann,

Yes, 12800 is the project id. There is known bug that if issue is moved to another project then it is not cleared from sprint, check the workaround available in the ticket.
