Unable to close sprints that have cancelled tasks.

Hello Alex,

Thank you for reaching out to Atlassian Community!

When closing a sprint, the completed tickets are the ones mapped to the very last column, that's why it's not possible to close the sprint with canceled tasks.

There is a feature request suggesting the implementation of this ability:

:) So what should i do to close a sprint in this case?

Jira considers as completed all issues mapped to the very last column, so you need to map the statuses to the last column in order to close the sprint.

Mapping it to the last column would just not be accurate. The last column would never be "cancelled". I must be missing something

Hi Alex,

On next-gen (team-managed) projects currently, only the last column sets a resolution and a ticket is considered Resolved if it has a resolution.

It’s possible to edit the workflow now, but still, only the very last column on the board is what will set the resolution.
