How to avoid having issues on the backlog when closing a sprint

Adrian Fallas March 30, 2020

Dear community, thanks in advance!

I have 3 boards in the same project (same columns ready, in progress, review, done). But :

1. I close the sprint and select which sprint to move my carried tasks.

2. The sprint closes successfully and I start the new sprint

3. The tasks on board 1 are carried and added the new scheduled tasks, which is the expected behavior.

4. On boards 2 and 3, only tasks scheduled appear, all others go to the backlog (tasks for example on "review" or "ready".

5. I have to put them manually again to the sprint on boards 2 and 3.

Anyone knows how to fix the issue, so all carried tasks go to the sprint in all 3 boards, and not only on the 1st?

Thank so MUCH in advance! This is taking a lot of manual work.

Hi @Adrian Fallas

Just to confirm you have three boards which have:

  • Different Tasks in each, based on the filter but...
  • All Tasks are in the same Sprint (which stretches across all three)

^ If this is the case, why do you have three boards and not just one?

If not, can you clarify your setup for us?

And can you also clarify what you mean by scheduled above?
