How to auto set work remaining based on original estimate

Hi

Our devs are providing original estimates.  We want to track work remaining and unless they 'log' some work, 'work remaining' is set at 0.

Is there a way we can have the system set the 'work remaining' to match the 'original estimate' initially? 

I'm trying to avoid having to manually log 1m of work, which then forces a recalc of work remaining, and gives me a true value.

hmmm, this is rather odd. in my instance Remaining always = Estimated as soon as you set Estimated. is this cloud or server? is it possible that someone is setting the remaining to 0?

Hi Jack

That's not happening.  People are estimating the work to tasks both in and outside of an active sprint, and the remaining work is unchanged at 0 until they log some work, at which point the remaining work is auto set correctly.

This is a cloud setup.
