How to assign an Issue Type to a specific Workflow

Susan Cline March 29, 2012

Not sure if this is a Jira question or a Greenhopper questions. But, I would like to assign a specific workflow to certain issue types. Can this be done? If so, please provide instructions. Thanks in advance.

You have to go to Admin section, the tab 'Issues' and the Item 'WorkFlow'. This should bring you to the WorkFlow configuration screen where you have the tab 'WorkFlows' and the tab 'WorkFlow scheme'.

In the bottom of the tab 'WorkFlow scheme' you have the option to create a new WorFlow Scheme, then you can configure the new Scheme asigning workflows to the different issue types.
