How to add release number using automated rules?

I have created a rule to create an issue type when a new version is created. This works fine. In the description, I would like to add the link to the newly created version, so that I have the list of all issues.

Summary - Release Task {{version.name}}

Description - https://ourdomainname/projects/REL/versions/ {{version.number}}/tab/release-report-all-issues

The summary works fine, but the description does not. Any suggestions?

see https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/smart-values-general/

I would say there is no version.number

maybe version.ID

Hi Alexander,

Thank you for the list, was very helpful.

Shital

Hi @Shital Khaladkar

Please try this to get to the list of issues in the version, replacing myCompanyInstance and myProject:

myCompanyInstance/browse/myProject/fixforversion/{{version.id}}

Best regards,

Bill
