How to add a new sub-task to an existing board

Matthieu Lux May 29, 2019

I created a new sub-task issue called 'Sprint Bug' which is modelled after the 'Bug' issue but nested under a Story.

Now I am trying to display it on the board my project is using.

I added the 'Sprint Bug' to the issues filter of a new board called 'Scrum' but this board (and 'Sprint Bug') is only showing for me the Admin of the Jira project.

Can anyone help me and explain what I am doing wrong and how I can make the 'Sprint Bug' visible in 1) my pre-existing Board or 2) the new 'Scrum' board I have created?

Thanks!

Hi @Matthieu Lux and welcome to the community!

This sounds like a permissions issue for the filter.  Check the filter to ensure it is shared with the user group you want to access the board.

If that does not solve the issue, please post your board filter so others can help determine if that is the issue.  Thank you!

Best regards,

Bill
