How to Upgrade jira 7.13.1 to 8.1?

I have Jira Software 7.13.1 and i want to upgrade it to V8.1, i need the steps to do it.

Hi Robin,

I checked the link and i followed the steps and backed up the Jira file system,but i need the steps to move the data from (jira V7.13.1) to V8.1, i want to upgrade it manually instead of using the installer.

is there a way to move the data from the old installation to the new?
