How do you add a new set of stories to work on - like a discrete release. Independent of the last

Dominic Bortolussi December 16, 2017

I'm being driven slowly insane by trying to decipher the manual here.

I have a project, usng a kanban board, i have an existing backlog, and 'in progress' and 'testing' and 'production' categories.

Now I have a whole new set of things to work on , and rather than add them to many already enormously long list, i'ld like a new section above the existing set of stories.

What's the right procedure here?

Thanks

Hi Dominic,

Did you try to create swimlanes in your Kanban board? Each swimlane can correspond to a JQL query e.g.  In order to do this, you can go to  (...)->Board Settings-> Swimlanes

Hope it helps,

That looks like a good solution, thanks!

Looks like you 'Add a release' and all the stories that were in the Production column are cleared, but all the other stories remain.

This is an ok solution, however I'd like to create and display a discrete new group of stories. Will continue to tinker.
