How do export a project

In plain JIRA + Agile, you can't "export" a project.  You can pull issue data out of it in various formats (x ml, spreadsheet, etc), but not the headers or configuration.  The other option is to export everything, then you can import individual projects from the full backup.

There are some add-ons which provide functions that do exports in some ways, so you can move or copy the config and/or issues elsewhere.  I'm not going to suggest any one of them in particular without knowing the context - why are you asking for project exports?  What do you want to do with the export?
