Hi Nicole,

do you mean adding a watcher to an issue? If so, just click on the number of watchers and add another one:

Hi,  both the project it self as well as to a ticket...

I am using the new Jira, but no where on the project it self does it show the option to add a watcher.

I created the project and would like to add my QA to see which tickets gets updated so that she gets a notification of that.

Hi Nicole,

I've never heard of anything like a project watcher functionality. The only thing you can do (in my opinion), is

  • create a new project role (watcher)
  • add this project role to all events in all your notification schemes
  • add your users to the project role "watcher"

I am going to give that one a try!  thank you so much!
