Hello @Divya Gupta
Welcome to the community.
Is this a board associated with a Next Gen project or a Classic project?
If this is a board associated with a Classic project, the issues displayed on the board are based on the filter used by the board. The owner of the filter can edit the filter to change what is included (or excluded) from the board.
To see the filter being used for board associated with a Classic project, from the board view click the ... button in the upper right corner and select Board Settings.
Then select General from the Settings list.
The resulting screen will show the filter associated with the board and the owner of the filter.
If you are the owner of the filter, it will not show your name, but it will show the "Edit filter query" link.
Then edit the filter query to exclude the specified issues. You can exclude explicit issue by adding
AND issue not in (issuekey1, issuekey2, ...)
If the issues have something unique in common, like a Label, or Component, then you could use that in the filter to exclude the issues.
Hi @Divya Gupta -- Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
Would you please answer the following the help the community provide you with suggestions?
Are you using server or cloud version of Jira?
Is your project type Classic or Next-Gen?
It appears you want to remove the Story type issues from the board and keep just the Epics. Is that correct?
