How can I hide sub-tasks within a sprint's work view?

Andrew Brown February 23, 2015

I'd like to hide sub-tasks from each sprint's Work view and instead just have parent issues transition through columns. Is this possible / how can I do this?

If it's helpful/relevant I'm using JIRA Agile.

In addition to @Rahul Aich [Nagra]'s post, you may ALSO apply a quickfilter to temporarily hide sub-tasks on a board. Configuring Quick Filters

You may have given the source data as your project for the agile board.

Instead of specifying the project , let the agile board take data from a filter. This filter will strip out the sub-tasks.

say,

project=<my_project> and issue type NOT IN (sub-task)

If this is given as input you should NOT see sub-tasks in the work mode.
