How can I change the displayed row headers in Eazybi?

Rob Geraedts December 28, 2015

I have created a report in Eazybi, listing Epics and issues as rows. The row titles always display the issue key + issue name. I want to only show the Issue name.

Currently, the row headers are displayed as:

ABC-21 Tom

ABC-43 Dick

ABC-66 Harry

Desired display is:

Tom

Dick

Harry

Is that possible?

Hi Rob,

The dimension member names cannot be changed, they are created during import.

In case there are few members that should be renamed, you can create a calculated member in that dimension that references exact member in the dimension (without any modifications), but give it a different name. But this would not suite for Issues dimension as issues are many and you would not create a calculated member for each issue.

Issues can have identical summaries so as unique identifier of issue eazyBI uses issue key. So we cannot avoid importing key value.

The other way around, it would be possible to remove import of summary and only import Issue key with custom JavaScript code that modifies the imported data.

Let me know if there is anything else I can assist you with!

Kind regards,
