What is the difference between task hours and original estimate when used by Greenhopper?

Looks like the estimate is based on task hours and not Original Estimate field.

Is there a doc on the calculations??

Also we are looking at how these fields are affected by the guidline field. It does not show a straight slope line From the DOC: Guideline (solid line) — The ideal burndown. This is computed with the remaining estimates, not the original estimates of the hours remaining at the version's start date. Hence, this calculation makes the guideline slope more accurate and precise.

What is the difference between task hours and original estimate when used by Greenhopper?

The Original Estimate is used by the Time Tracking functionality in JIRA. Task hours (I would assume) are numeric values that will be used to "estimate" the time it takes to complete the issue.

No. There are no docs.

The guideline (grey line) is just a straight line from the start of the sprint to the end of the sprint. It is based on the estimates defined when the sprint is started.

Thanks. In our case the guideline(grey line) has steps. NOT STRAIGHT

What calculates the steps and what drives the start & end points of the burnup/burndown. We assumed it would be on the same line
