Greenhopper boards not available after upgrade to 6.2.2

nick August 12, 2013

After upgrading to Jira 5.2.11 and Greenhopper 6.2.2 the existing Greenhopper boards are not available.

Users just get a link to create a new board.

How can we get access to the previous boards?

Problem found to be that the active objects data wasn't inserted when we restored from the xml backup of the previous version (Jira 5.1.8).

The data for the boards was in a file called activeobjects.xml and we couldn't import this through the Jira interface so had to bring it in using sql.

All appears OK now.

Did you reindex Jira yet? You might need to restart Jira after the reindex as well? It depends on the versions of Jira and Greenhopper you upgraded from.

I am assuming there are no errors in your log files but you check if you have this issue.
