Greenhopper Task Board - How to see the issues from multiple releases

Deepak Indoliya February 13, 2012

On the Task Board, I'd like to see the issues from all releases and projects that our engineering is working on. Is there a way to achieve this? I don't want to select the Project and the Version that appear by default.

For a company that has been releasing products for the last 8 years, I did not have the felxibility to re-arrange the version numbers. However, moving to rapid board has been very helpful. I've implemented the Quick Filters to allow me to get around the flexibility to modify the card styles.

You can use a version hierarchy to accomplish this. Select one of the parent versions and you will all of the issues assigned there as well as the child versions. e.g.

Versions:

  1. Product Master
    1. Release Master
      1. Release 1.0 -- Issue A
      2. Release 2.0 -- Issue B, C

Choosing to look at version "Release Master" will show you all three issues: A, B, and C.
