Greenhopper - Newbee question - resizing task board to show more tasks

Jim Waldron January 12, 2012

A typical Sprint for us has about 150 tasks. Is there a way to resize the cards on the task board so that more of them are visible? We project his and only the task name needs to be readable.

Thanks,

Jim.

On the Agile/Greenhopper wall view, go to tools -> user preferences.

Under task board, there's a num field for issues per column, and parents per page.

Make that number as large as you need.

The List view shows more issues, especially if you select the User Preference for the issue only showing 2 lines.

Issues are colour-coded by issue-type, if you feel the List view makes it harder to see which are story or task then maybe try the User Preference for background colours on the issues. This can help when scanning a list to see issue breakdown.

Hi Jim

Just activate the "List" view.

Best regards

Thomas

A list kind of defeats the whole Agile paradigm. Our folks want to see the stories and task disposition.
