In greenhopper 6.1.2,

In the current sprint in the work board, if we select a Story and select remove from sprint option, the action fail and gives an error :

Workflow:

login

Click Agile and select Board

Verify we are in work mode

Select a Story

Go on the story panel on the right side and click on the gear icon

Select Remove from Sprint

Error message and issue still there.

Workflow for workaround:

Go in plan mode, and remove from sprint.

Or go in plan mode. Click on the issue id so it load in the panel on the right side

go back in Work mode

Click the issue, gear, remove from sprint

Works

jira is on 5.1.8

GH 6.1.2

Currently this is a new Bug that we are tracking internally. I am checking if we can make this Bug public so you can add yourself as watcher and follow up the case.

So far all we have is the workaround mentioned by you which is not good at all but can keep your Board usage until we have a fix.

Cheers,

Tribeiro

Hey there.

This is indeed an interesting issue. Have you tried to contact the Atlassian Support to see whether they might have an idea on what could be the reason behind the error that you are getting?

https://support.atlassian.com/

If they are able to reproduce it on a fresh instance, who knows that it might be a bug.

Warm regards,

Danial
