Getting Story Point totals per Status data

As the Greenhopper CFD and Release burndown do not create reports using Story Points we want to create them manually. Can you let me know how we could extract the story point total (sum of) for all stories in each of the statuses? We can then snapshot these in excel.

I have come accross this same request and your question on here, and ended up using the SumUp addon along with filters for each of my statuses. I then added "filter results" dashboard gadgets for each of those and now I have a page with all story point totals for each status.

To graph the information I still need excel.
